The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management was established and started to admit students in 2003. A brief history of degree granting can be summarized as follows:
In 2003 the System Analysis and Planning major in B.Sc. was established.
In 2005 the Industrial Production major in B.Sc. was introduced.
In 2007 the Industrial Technology major in B.Sc. was introduced.
In 2010 the B.Sc. program of Industrial Engineering (without specialized majors) was established as a renovated and comprehensive degree.
In 2012 the M.Sc. program of Industrial Engineering-Optimization was established.
In 2014 the M.Sc. program of Industrial Engineering-Macro systems was established.
In 2020 the B.Sc. program of Industrial Management was established as the first degree in Management in Sadjad University of Technology.
Today in the year 2020, after more than 17 years of education and research in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management we are honored to be consistently considered as one of the most influential and leading education/research institutions in this field in the region and country.
The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management has been home to over 140 graduate students and many research groups conducting practical research under the supervision of our faculty members in the fields of Operations Research, Project Management and Planning, Marketing, System Simulation, Information Engineering, Applied Machine Learning, Quality and Reliability Management, Production Management and Applied Statistical Methods. After graduation, our students join a large, successful and impressive community of Sadjad alumni.
