Through the dedicated efforts of the Physical Education and Extracurricular Activities Management of Sadjad University, the University's men's swimming team competed in the Region 9 National Selection Tournament for the Student Sports Olympiad for both male and female athletes of universities and higher education institutions, held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, commencing at 8:00 AM at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad swimming pool.

In a standout performance, Amirreza Namazi, a Master's student in the Department of Urban Planning, secured two silver medals — in the 200m freestyle and 4×50m medley relay events. Through this distinguished achievement, he earned his qualification for the National Student Olympiad, reflecting both his athletic dedication and exceptional competitive performance.

The tournament was attended by 36 athletes representing 7 universities, including Khayyam University, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Semnan University, Imam Reza University, Sadjad University, Tous University, and Hakim Sabzevari University.
