The thesis of Ms. Maryam Afkhami, a graduate of the Master’s program in Electrical Engineering-Control at Sadjad University, titled "A Novel Approach for Deep Reinforcement Learning Considering Continuous States and Discretized Actions," under the supervision of Dr. Amin Noori, has been awarded the Best Thesis title at the conference of the Iranian Society of Machine Vision and Image Processing (the Seventh International Conference on Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis (IPRIA)).

This thesis presents an innovative method for deep reinforcement learning that reduces computational complexity through the discretization of action spaces while demonstrating precise and acceptable performance in solving various problems. The proposed method has been compared with advanced algorithms in deep reinforcement learning, proving its simplicity alongside high accuracy.
