With collaboration of the Department of Physical Education and Extracurricular Activities, Sadjad University women’s track and field team could secure the second place among eight participating teams in championship competitions of university students in region 9 of the country.

In these competitions which beginning from Thursday, December 18 to Saturday, December 20 at athletics track of Ferdowsi University and Baghbanbashi sports complex, eight teams from Alzahra university, Frahangian University, Birkand University, Bojnord University, Sadjad University, Iman Reza Unievrsity, Ghochan University, and Attar Institute of higher education participated.

Sadjad Universy team with the tutelage of Ms. Mahdieh Zaker could achieve the following results:

Ms. Parisa Najafi, first place in 3000‑meter event, third place in 1500‑meter event, and attaining the national Olympiad quota

Ms. Mahnaz Mhbbobi, first place in 60-meter event with obstacle, second place in long jump event, and attaining national Olympiad quota

Ms. Sahar Jalali, first place in high jump event and attaining national Olympiad quota

Ms. Fatemeh Ebrahimi, first place in shot-putting event, second place in discus throw, second place in 400-meter event, and attaining national Olympiad quota

Ms. Arina Zare, third place in 200-meter event

Ms. Sarina Zare, third place in 400-meter event

Ms. Fatemeh Banavi, third place in high jump event
