World Town Planning Day Commemoration Gathering, organized by the Urban Planning Scientific Association, was held on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. in the university’s main auditorium.

The ceremony began with a warm and friendly conversation between Dr. Haji Kazemi and the audience. Following this, Dr. Lashkari welcomed the professors and students, expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Urban Planning Scientific Association, and highlighted the importance of the urban planning discipline.

The program continued with speeches by Dr. Farshad Zivari, Head of the Urban Planning and Architecture Department at the Technical Office of Khorasan Razavi Governorate, and Mr. Touraj Sanaei Moghadam, Chairman of the Board of Khorasan Razavi Urban Planners’ Employers Association. Both speakers shared valuable insights on cities and urban planning.

At the conclusion of the event, the winners of the sketch competition were honored. In a symbolic gesture, the tenth anniversary of the Faculty of Urban Planning was celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony attended by professors and students.
